One of the best outdoorsman that I’ve ever known. And an awesome friend, competitor, and teammate

Will miss you Benny, you were one of the funniest guys in the neighborhood growing up. We had some fun times on the ol Mill Hill. Wouldn’t wanna Miss the opportunity of being neighbors up on Gobblers Knob either…all the nights Becky would cook us dinner after working second shift…good ol home fried chicken even when she burned it lol. To your family especially your son, I will be praying for their loss…God Bless

    Becky,
I was so sorry to hear of Benny’s passing. May God give you the strength to carry on for your family. May you find peace by trusting in the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are extended to his brothers and sisters that I grew up knowing and loving and to Nancy, my dear old high school friend, I will never forget our good times in high school. May God grant you peace.
    Love to all

Becky, we are sorry for your loss. Even though I’ve lived in Charlotte for over 30 years, and never really got to spend much time around you or Benny and your family, I’ve always felt a connection. I’m so glad I got to come and meet Daniel, and his family, and see everyone there. Since my mother passed over a year ago, and have lost many more relatives since then, it has given me more opportunity to think about the brevity of time, and my relationship with the Lord. I pray that he is your comforter in the time ahead and that he shows you his presence and love toward you and your family. Love, Jerry

Haven’t seen Benny in a long time. He was a good friend back in the day and we had a lot of fun times hanging out with the boys. Rest well my friend.

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

-RP

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

-DBN

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
