Our condolences and prayers to the Vanhoy family. Ms. Vanhoy was a very sweet and kind lady.

This lady has known me and my family since I was four years old. She was always, kind, smiling and willing to help in any way she could for friends, neighbors and even strangers. She lived a good Christian life and set a high example for all of us who will miss her.

I am praying for all the family. It’s hard to say goodbye to your mom. I have some very fond memories of her and of Mr. Lee, both. Two finer people would be hard to find. Be proud of the woman Ms. Cathleen was and hold fond memories close to your hearts. With loving memories, Sarah

I came to see Mrs. Vanhoy with the Meals on Wheels program at the Senior Center. I absolutely loved coming to see her. She was friendly, positive, and had a never give up attitude. My prayers are with you.

Prayers to all the family. I worked with Ms. Vanhoy many years ago,, and since I started making aprons, I have talked with her. She gave me good advice and happy to show me things I didn’t understand. I will always remember her. May she rest in peace with our LORD.

We loved Cathleen and Lee so much. We are sorry for the loss felt by her family and loved ones, but we know there is joy even in the grieving because Cathleen is with the Lord. We could not come for the service, but you all were in our thoughts and prayers. We are praying that the sweet memories of all she was to you and to so many will give you peace and comfort, and even some smiles. Love you all.

Stanly overwhelmingly met or exceeded our family’s expectations. Family and friends both expressed how thoughtful, caring and professional they were. We’re glad you’re in Locust!

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
