“Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity”

Dear friends,

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a precious member of our family, Heather Nicole Burkett. Heather grew up in Cabarrus County and attended Central Cabarrus High School. While furthering her education, she worked at Sonic Drive-In, where she made long lasting friendships. Yoga, cooking, and fitness were her hobbies, leading her to receive her yoga certification. Whether you knew her as Heather or Nicole, you know that she had a warm, sweet, generous soul. She loved animals, family, and friends, going above and beyond if anyone she loved was in need.

Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust is serving the Burkett family.

My heart hurts for such a great loss is such a sweet loving family. You all welcomed me as one of your own and Heather did as well. I use to see her often on Sundays or Monday off Park Rd wile watching football or at your family functions. I can say that I don’t think I’ve ever saw her without a smile on her face a gleam in her eye and a sweet spirit . RIP sweet Heather and family I send you love.

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

-RP

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

-DBN

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
