Kathy was truly a sister in Christ! She was always so kind to everyone, and when you needed prayer she was the one to call and she would pray with you as long as you needed.

The very first time I went to E.C.C., was a Sunday evening. We had come in by the side door and Kathy was the very first person to greet us and introduce herself. She showed us around and introducef us to others. She also gave me a beautiful basket full of items such as a book by Joyce Meyers, bubble bath & body lotion, candy and a wonderful smelling candy. Included wad a lovely birthday card. We shared a lot on the phone and she always made sure she gave me a hug greeting at Church. When we’d see each other at Walmart, she’d ask if I needed prayer for anything. I will miss her terribly.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Wilhoit/Watkins families. I took care of Mabel at Forrest Oakes many years ago; I am so glad of the assurance they are together again.

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

-DBN

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
