I have known Kim for many years and never saw her without a big smile. She was always so outgoing and friendly to all.Everyone is in shock and grief who heard this tragic news.. I worked at Aquadale with Joyce for a long time. I’m sure she and Labon were waiting to greet her at heaven’s gates. We should all strive to have such a friendly personality and be willing to help others as she did. The kids she impacted all through the years will never forget her reaching out to them. Everyone who knew her will miss her greatly. We all are so busy these days; but I think we can all reach out and volunteer to be a part of someone’s life as well as she did. Our YMCA family will miss her too.. God bless all who are saddened and I will be praying for God to help the family and friends through this tough time.
Love and prayers

I met Kim in marching band at NC State. I had the privilege of sitting next to her on the bus to my first away football game to Georgia Tech. A wonderful person, kind, and very driven. She will be missed.
I enjoyed working with Kim at Anson Middle School. I still saw her some when we transferred to different schools. She will be greatly missed…….
Kim was just a gentle and kind friend. She inspired me so many times. Even when I had bad days at work. She was there! It’s like she could tell what I was going through at work. We had so much in common especially the beach music bands and Sos. I will miss her. She was a great co worker and friend. The lord has another angel with him. The beach music world isn’t going to be the same without her smiling face, and warm energy at the beach music concerts
I could never express how grateful I am for Kim’s devotion to my two daughters in 4-H, she went above and beyond to see them succeed. We all enjoyed evenings spent in her and Joyce’s home that was filled with laughter. Thank you for touching so many lives.

I had the privilege of watching Kim grow in so many areas over the years as we worked together at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She loved life to the fullest and was always spreading good cheer and happiness with her outgoing personality. She was always so eager to show the photos of the many trips she made with her mother. She will be missed by many.
