Laura Clodfelter McIntyre

Laura Clodfelter McIntyre, 75, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Forrest Oaks Nursing Center in Albemarle. Her Memorial Service will be Saturday December 16, at 1 PM in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 PM till the time of service.

Born November 3, 1942 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Clodfelter and Marie Hudson Clodfelter. She was married to the late Joe Edward McIntyre. Mrs. Laura is survived by two daughters, Cindy Lynch (William) of Little River, SC and Tammy Smith (Michael) of Albemarle, one son, Joe McIntyre, Jr. (Barbara Hooper) of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Other survivors include two brothers, Danny Clodfelter of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Joel Clodfelter of Charlotte, NC, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
