My sympathy to the family. I taught Melanie riding lessons many years ago. We reconnected on Facebook awhile back. She was a delightful person, and my life was enriched by knowing her.

Melanie had an inner as well as outer beauty. And a kind, generous and loving heart as well as tremendous faith. I picture you now in Jesus’ arms, Melanie. You truly fought the good fight here on earth. I know your pets, as well as your family and friends, will miss you. Until we meet again ….

Melanie was a mentor to me, encouraging me when our new business was struggling in it’s early days. Now, eighteen years later, we are still in business and she came by to see us until the very end. I cherish her support, sweet friendship and Christian faith all these years! She was a precious soul and I will miss her! But I know she suffers no more and she has the healed body she wanted. Bless you for the life you lived!

It has been my great joy to have known Melanie as a friend and a Pastor for 25 years. She was so gifted and there will just not be another Melanie! My life was so enriched by her friendship.

Melanie had a great heart and was a true friend to my Mom. I pictured them as Thelma and Louise during their trip to Williamsburg. Thank you to her family for sharing Melanie with us. She will be missed.

I am so sad to hear about Melanie’s passing. She was so gifted as a designer and so helpful to me in remodeling our home. I enjoyed my time with her so much after all these many years beyond high school when she was in my brother’s class. I pray for comfort for your family in these sad times. She was such a lively and bright spirit!

We love and will miss Melanie greatly. She was a kind and generous person who loved the Lord, her family, and friends. She was such a blessing and encouragement to us. I know she was sad that she didn’t have more time to give to others, but she fought the good fight until the end. She kept the faith and has received her reward, and I know she was welcomed with “well done good and faithful servant” and has entered into the joy of Jesus. Praise God for Melanie.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

Stanly overwhelmingly met or exceeded our family’s expectations. Family and friends both expressed how thoughtful, caring and professional they were. We’re glad you’re in Locust!

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
