I am so sorry for the loss of Lane. He was a great neighbor to have around. I enjoyed just sitting down with Lane and talking about his childhood in our neighborhood. He would tell about the Vanhoy boys going swimming at the Bill Lake. I could always count on a watermelon every summer from his garden. Lane will be missed by all the neighbors on Ridenhour Road. Our thoughts and prayers for the Vanhoy family.

All of our Vanhoy Family mourn the death of our Precious Oldest Cousin. Lane was such a precious, humble man who will be sorely missed by all of us. May precious memories give his Family and Ruth comfort in our deep loss. We do rejoice for Lane now that he is with his Lord and all of his Loved Ones who have gone on before. God Bless each of you.
Daddy talked of longing to go”over yonder” to see his loved ones and I’m sure he is rejoicing right now ! Thank you for your love and prayers
Brother Jimmy and I are deeply saddened that a loyal soldier has been removed from our family. Gathering with him in a church capacity was a priviledge and hearing Him ‘approach the throne of Grace’ in prayer was such a comfort. Our sadness is eased by the fact that He is now resting with all His loved ones and will praise our Lord forever
Our prayers are with the family that we love so much. May the peace which passes all understanding be with you now and may the precious memories fill the lonely hours.
Thank you sister Judy foe your love and prayers !
Any time I think of Lane I picture the smile on his face. He always made me feel that he cared for my family and me. I was proud to have him as my “oldest” first cousin and proud of the wonderful Christian man he was. We will surely miss him leading the prayer and recognizing all the families at our reunions, but rejoice that he is in Heaven and we will see him again. I am praying for the family.
Daddy looked forward to seeing each of you at the Vanhoy reunion! His family was precious to him! And he had many precious memories of your mother and her siblings ! Thank you for your prayers. Hope we can gather together again very soon!
