Linda Beaman Peterson

Linda Beaman Peterson, 75, of Albemarle passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 in CHS Northeast, Concord. Her funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel, Albemarle with Rev. Ronnie Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 1 until 1:45 prior to the service.

Born January 13, 1944 in Troy, NC, she was the daughter of Norman and Girtha Hamilton Beaman. She was a member of Melton’s Grove United Methodist Church in Mt. Gilead. She was a retired manager in the textile industry. She loved gardening and she was an excellent seamstress. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and seeing new places.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband Roger Charles Peterson of the home, brother Dalton Beaman of Greensboro, stepchildren Keva, Jane, Kyle, Chet, Kent, and Carlie, and 6 grandchildren. A brother Bobby Beaman preceded her in death.

    linda, was always happy person always , may god bless all the family my thoughtes and prayers will always be with you, throughtout this hard time, but always remember god is always with us. just remember all the good times. i will be praay for you all.

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.


Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.


The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
