Shirley you where one of a kind. Your love and joy was appreciated by all. Your courage in the battle of your life preached a message no preacher could. You showed the world Jesus. When the word came you had gone, the first song that came to mind was it’s shouting time I’m heaven. I loved you so much Shirley.

GiGi we are going to miss your beautiful smile, contagious laugh and fun loving spirit. You have lived a hard fight but you have won the ultimate gift and though we may have moments of selfishness and wishing you were back we know you are sitting with our Heavenly Father completely healed and wouldn’t ask you to come back. I can see you now with your spunky self just telling your stories, journeys and joking around. We love you and will miss you greatly but our hearts are filled with the your wonderful love and memories. You have earned wings enjoy them! Until we see you again, go write us a story on the other side because this isn’t good bye just see you later.

Stanly overwhelmingly met or exceeded our family’s expectations. Family and friends both expressed how thoughtful, caring and professional they were. We’re glad you’re in Locust!

We never felt hurried or rushed in any way even though they had other funerals that day.  Everyone at Stanly Funeral Home made us feel like we were family and did everything they could for us in this most trying time in our lives.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure that every detail was good with me.  Their kindness, patience and love they show is superior.  Stephen Aldridge and his ENTIRE staff are the best.

The whole staff was wonderful but Stephen Aldridge was excellent, even sending us a note one month later.
