William “Bill” Charles Schwoebel, 77, of Mint Hill, NC passed away February 12, 2021 at Olde Knox Commons, Huntersville, NC. There will be a private family graveside service at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte.
Mr. Schwoebel was born January 30, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles William Schwoebel and Evelyn June Miller Schwoebel. He graduated from Saint Wendelin School. Bill was a Vietnam Veteran and received an honorable discharge after five years in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Schwoebel was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill, NC and he was a longtime member of Pine Lake County Club.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marilyn Spatafora Schwoebel; son Matthew Charles Schwoebel and wife Lauren of Mint Hill, NC; daughter Karyn Holt Drake and husband Reggie of Midland, NC; brother Gordon Davis of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandsons Ryan Holt and wife Kelli and William Charles Schwoebel; two great-grandsons Michael Drake Holt and Nash Alexander Holt and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Schwoebel is also preceded in death by his sister Martha June Lewis.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust is serving the Schwoebel family.
